Barclays Bank has now transferred 68 per cent of its Kenyan shareholding to Barclay's Africa Limited to enable it merge its African operations. The move comes after approval from the Capital Markets Authority to conduct a private transaction in which Barclays will transfer shares to Barclays Africa Limited as part of an intra group transfer.
