South Africa: Sit-In in Front of Moroccan Embassy in Pretoria Denouncing Military Court of Gdeim Izik Group

The South African movement of solidarity with the Sararawi People, on Tuesday organized a sit-in before Moroccan Embassy in Pretoria,in conclusion of its awareness campaign in framework of international solidarity with 24 sharawi political prisoners known as Gdeim izik group whom facing Moroccan military court in the coming days.

the sit- in continued for one hour with participation of more than 200 persons represent several youth ,workers and students organizations and ended by handing over to Moroccan officials of the Embassy a memorandum condemns violations of human rights in the occupied Western Sahara and denouncing military court against the Gdeim Izik group.

The participants chanted south African songs during the apartheid era which give impression that today Moroccan violations of human rights against the Saharawi are similar to what committed against people of South Africa by apartheid regime.
