By Wanjohi Gakio, 7 February 2013
NGOs in Laikipia have called upon enhancement of civic education Kenyans ahead of the forthcoming general elections scheduled for March 4.
Under the umbrella of the International Republican Institute and led by Wambugu Muriu and Wairimu Kamwenje, they called on IEBC, church organisations and other institutions to spearhead civic education so that Kenyans can make informed choices during the polls.
They were speaking yesterday after attending a day long civic education forum sponsored by The International Republican Institute and USaid.
