Kenya: Two Disabled Get Cyber Cafe

A non-governmental organisation in Mombasa has given two disabled people a cyber café. The Dear Diary initiative raised Sh293,000 at a fundraiser last weekend at Nakumatt Cinemax.

The founder of the initiative Nafisa Khanbhai said they were targeting Sh500,000. "The cyber cost us 443,000. We still have a deficit of almost Sh150,000" she said.

The Dear Diary initiative is funding small enterprises for disabled people and educating children with disabilities at the Coast. "We thank the Fairdeal furniture and the Grain Bulk for their support," he said.
