Kenya: Teso Girls Beat Boys to Join Top Schools

MORE girls have been picked to join national schools than boys in Teso North. Twenty seven girls have been selected to join various national schools compared to 24 boys.

The top girl from Teso North, Faith Moffin Opilio of Kamolo Primary School who got 388 marks has joined Alliance Girls High School. Isegere Toto School which emerged fourth in the county has sent six students.

Busia Ebenezer Academy, which emerged tops in the county sent 26 students out of 50 who sat the exams to national schools. Its top student Abungu Loice Apiyo who scored 393 marks has been selected for Alliance Girls.
