Angola: Cabinda Carnival to Pay Homage to Singer, Group

Cabinda — The edition 2013 of the carnival in Cabinda province will pay a homage to the Mayeye de Talibeca group and the veteran singer Francisco da Cruz Cardoso "Copo Frio", for their contribution to the culture in the region, Angop has learnt.

The head of cultural action in Cabinda, André Luemba, said the mentioned carnival group is one of the oldest in Cabinda. It was created in the 60s.

Meanwhile, the singer Copo Frio will be paid a homage for his shining career in favour of he Angolan culture, mainly in Cabinda province.
