Cabinda — The governor of the northern Cabinda province, Aldina Matilde da Lomba has announced the regular holding of Municipal and Communal Fairs for the sale of agricultural and livestock products from this year, similar to the provincial fair held regularly in the region.
The governor announced so Wednesday during celebrations of the 23rd anniversary of creation of the Confederation of Peasants Associations of Agricultural Cooperatives of Angola (UNACA) held on February 6.
Aldina da Lomba noted that some municipalities are busy building market places to enable the holding of municipal and communal fairs.
According to her, the mechanism for trading of products is under study.
The governor also stressed that the programme for combat hunger and poverty covers the trading in the field already identified.
