Angola: Over 1000 Disabled Get Assistance

Luena — At least 1,646 people with physical disability were assisted in the eastern Moxico province in 2012, said Thursday the provincial director of social welfare Ana Filomena Tchipoia.

Speaking to Angop, the official mentioned 118 tricycles, 378 wheelchairs and 1,450 crutches, among other means, delivered to the vulnerable.

In addition she also said that other 412 vulnerable benefited from the various kits.

Ana Filomena explained that the support consist in retread kits to 38 beneficiaries, shoemaker (46), sewing (38), Plumber (18), mechanics (24), mason (20), blacksmith (28) , among other specialties.
