Angola: Malaria Fight Programme Gets One More Partner

Huambo — One more partner joined as from Thursday the programme of combat malaria in the central Huambo province to enable an effective eradication of disease and contribute to the strengthening of national health system.

This is a forum of partners in combating malaria whose managing board that was elected Thursday intended to promote the comprehensive public and private partnership with local civil society.

The move ensure support to the provincial programme of combating disease.

The chairperson of the forum, Jony Joares, said that during his one-year mandate he will guide and coordinate all projects implemented by the partners from the provincial health department on fight against malaria.

Created in 2007, the forum is tasked with improving the coordination and use of resources by the partners.
