Tunisia: Ben Ali Relative Seeks Seychelles Asylum

Sakher El Materi officially sought asylum in the Seychelles, TAP reported on Wednesday (February 6th). Following the Tunisian revolution, the son-in-law of ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali fled to Qatar.

He is the subject to an international arrest warrant for his alleged ties to fraud and embezzlement of public funds.
