Gambia: Badibunka Releases New Single, Eyes New Music Project

A rising Gambian sensation-Badibunka, known to many as the man from 'Jamba Sang Sang' is indeed showing no sign of slowing down, as he recently released his much anticipated new single featuring Sandeng of the Humanity Starz. The new single entitled 'Kanumousou' is a Mandinka parlance meaning 'Dearest Wife' and represents one of most electrifying piece of this young Badibou-born singer.

Meanwhile, the rising sensation is currently working on strings of new music electrifying projects in his quest to promote his career to the world. Taking into account the creativity of the duo stars, Badibunka believes the recent collabo with Sandeng is another milestone move acknowledging that the song got an impact in his music. The move, according to him, came when the rising sensation visited a studio one-day and was informed by a producer of that particular studio, that he got a dub that he wanted someone to sing on. "What I requested was the dub and went home and listened to it and later recorded my voice on the dub."

He explained that at the time, Sandeng's voice was already on the dub so they decided to make it a combination which many people appreciated so much. He said he received lots of phone calls regarding this latest single right now hitting the air waves. But he was quick to refute that the song is a 'Ndaga' song and that his singing style remains the same.

He also refuted claims that he got no problems with his producer. "That has never happened, remember that I signed a contract with my producer and there is no problem as at now," Badibunka added, promising his fans that he has a lot in store for them."I'm working on a number of new releases to be part of masterpiece album this year as well as singles and stage appearances. Remember I came from Badibou to Kombo, so I am not here to joke but for real business," he stressed.

The Jamba Sang Sang born artiste explained that Shy Boy Entertainment is still responsible for all matters relating to his management stressing that all bookings for him has to pass through this latter Entertainment before it reaches him. He was however quick to add that, this procedures do not apply to artistesas they play for each other for free.

He thanked all his fans for being there for him always, and promised that he is coming back to entertain them with his best of music. "I was cooking and now I am ready to deliver it to the people", he further stated.
