Music enthusiasts in the Smiling Coast are currently bracing up for a string of captivating concerts dubbed 'Afrobeat Concerts' as part ofactivities celebrating the 'Easter Festivities, reports reaching What's On reveals.
The events, according to information gathered, will also witness live on stage all the way from London, UK, the Triple Award Winning Club, TV & Radio DJ Abrantee. The rising selector, who has established himself as one of the most exciting and entertaining DJ's on the Urban & African music scene, is also credited by many as the one of the main people poised to take the Afrobeats from underground to international front.
Meanwhile, the forthcoming Easter jam brought courtesy of DJ Abrantee himself, will herald another turning point in promoting the afrobeats genre to the world. The events slated for Saturday 30th March 2013 at Club Duplex and Easter Sunday 31st March 2013 at Jokor Garden Club Serekunda, is anticipated by the enormous fans of afrobeats music in the country.
In addition, the London-based Choice FM drive-time DJ has just released the compilation CD Afrobeats - 'The Ultimate Collection' and features 30 tracks from the likes of P-Square, Wande Coal, WizKid, Atumpan, R2bees and Davido plus exclusive remixes by Conor Maynard, Ne-Yo and Lemar.

DJ Abrantee is the host on the weekday Drive Time show on one of The Uk's leading contemporary radio stations Choice FM, Mon-Sat- 4pm -8pm and the Popular and Trending Afrobeats show each Saturday night from 10.00pmtill 12 Midnite. He has supported some of the world biggest artists in concert namely -Jay-z, Neyo, Akon, T Pain and has also interviewed the likes of Usher, Drake, P.Diddy, Trey Songs, B.O.B, Toni Braxton, Craig David, Tinie Tempah, African stars P Square, Wizkid, Ice Prince and many more on his Choice FM Radio show & his TV Show aptly named "The DJ Abrantee Show" on Sky TV which launched in 2009.
He has been host at the itunes Festival, Screen Nation Awards; Reach for the stars, Ginuwine concert at the 02, Rick Ross at the Forum and his very own annual Ghana Independence Day event which attracts thousands of spectators each year, The Afrobeats Festival, Hiplife Festival, Shontell Lyne Concerts in Ghana. As an actor, Abrantee has also appeared in ITV's The Bill, Footballers Wives and some Short Independent UK Films as well as being heavily involved in charity work around the UK, most notably an ambassador for peace on the streets campaign. In October 2011, DJ Abrantee embarked on an ambitious UK & Ireland Afrobeats Club Tour, promoting the music, artists and his popular Afrobeats brand throughout the UK.
