Angola Offers Investment Environment - Diplomat

São Paulo — The Angolan ambassador to Brazil, Nelson Cosme, said in São Paulo that the country offers appropriate environment for investment businesses, due to its great economic growth.

The diplomat was speaking on Wednesday during a lecture on opportunities for expansion of investments in Angola and Africa, an event sponsored by the Brazil American Chamber of Commerce.

Angola, he said, has one of the world's fastest growing economy over the last few years and has been creating an appropriate environment for investment businesses.

Nelson Cosme invited the Brasilian businesses to invest in Angola's sectors as agriculture, industry, energy, telecommunications and training.

On the occasion, the ambassador spoke of the current political and economic reality of the African continent, including the geostrategic position and perspectives.

The diplomat mentioned the sectors of oil industry and natural gas, commerce, energy, manufacturing industry, construction and public works, banking, insurance and services.
