Kenya: Korane Launches Manifesto in Garissa

Garissa governor candidate Ali Korane yesterday launched his manifesto with a promise to turn the county into the economic hub of Northern Kenya.

Korane said tackling insecurity in the county will be his priority if elected on March 4. "The security of the residents must be ensured for them to feel safe," said the former Information PS. "If we get our security priorities correct, we will be creating a fa- vourable environment to conduct business.
