Kenya: EU Observers Tour Makueni

The European Union Election Observation Mission that arrived in the country on January 19 has deployed two officers in Makueni County.

Michele Camerota and Martina Ciganikova arrived in Wote town yesterday and visited the County Commissioner David ole Shege, Makueni IEBC co-ordinator Catherine Githinji and Makueni OCPD Joshua Ole Leina at Acacia Resort in the afternoon.

The EU Mission is led by Chief Observer Alojz Peterie, a member of the European Parliament (EP). The tofficers will observe elections in Makueni, Machakos and Kajiado.
