Mourad Ali, the Freedom and Justice Party's media advisor, on Friday held the National Salvation Front accountable for the outcome of the protests the front had called for today and the acts of violence committed by any participants.
Ali described members of the front as "failures".
In a statement the party issued, Ali said, "They organise demonstrations every time, blood is shed, petrol bombs are thrown, bird shots are used, girls are harassed, then their leaders condemn it. If you cannot control demonstrations you call for, allow me to tell you that you are failures."
Demonstrations lead to more deterioration in the security situation and consequently the economic one, Ali stated.
Thousands are taking part in demonstrations on Friday in Cairo and several cities to protest against the rule of President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood.
