Ghana: 'Pitch Is Not to Be Blamed' - Asamoah Gyan

Following the defeat of Ghana by Burkina Faso, Captain Asamoah Gyan has agreed that his side lost to a well organized Burkina Faso and would not want to point or put any blame on the pitch which the competition was played on.

"We came here to win and it's normal but what else can I say"? He added.

Burkina Faso reached their first finals in their AFCON history which was marred by the Tunisian referee who was trying to officiate on behalf of Ghana and they later on beat Ghana on penalties which made the game fair.

Burkina Faso Coach had earlier on said that they had advantage over Ghana on the pitch of play.
