According to him, 'I started my music career as a dancer and a singer. I remember my first studio experience was in S.S 1 in a song titled: 'Shake your body', where I was featured by fellow upcoming artistes. I took the chorus. I grew up in a house where my elder brothers loved rap music very much and they always played it.

So, I grew up listening numerous songs from artistes like Terry DRapman, Mode9, Ice Cube, B.I.G and more. That made me to like Hip-Hop, so I grew up as a rapper, learning from those songs, I was able to shape my rap styles,' SPANZY explained.

Though he is yet to release an album, he said he is working on one and should be expected very soon.

According to him, 'I have four tracks on ground with songs like 'Hallah My Name' which is yet to be released. This hip- hop artiste said he is working with coded tunes on a number of projects.

Though due to some circumstances, his songs have not gone across the nation because of the logistics requirement, but it's enjoying air play on local stations in FCT and environs, and in his words, ' With time it should be heard everywhere in the country.'

When asked what he wants to achieve in music especially now that there is a very competitive market he laughed and said, 'A funny one, though, it is challenging but I am part of the competition too, solet's do it, because I am good and I know it.'

When also asked what new music or style he is bringing to the public that has not been heard of before, he said though everyone has his/her style of music, he will make a difference. 'What else If not to give them my best? (Laughs) they haven't heard about Spanzy before, If not me, they haven't heard or seen my type before, you would tell from my lyrics,' the promising artiste said.

On when his album should be expected, he said, 'if my present singles are good, that means the others yet to be produced would be a popular demand. So expect something unique from Spanzy,' he promised.

He gave all kudos to God Almighty and his manager for everything known about him so far.

'God Almighty who has been my pillar of support, my manager Mr. Maduka Kalu, and my ever-loving family members, fans who without their supports, there would not have been no Spanzy'.
