Tanzania: Form One Students to Miss Out On Places

Bukoba — OVER 1,200 students selected to join secondary schools this year in Muleba District, have failed to do so due to lack of classrooms.

Muleba District Education Officer (Secondary schools), Mr Aloyce Thomas confirmed that students have failed to start school due to the lack of classrooms.

He said Councillors in Muleba district had been directed to sensitise people to ensure that they construct the classrooms to enable the students start classes before end of next month.

Muleba Ward Councillor, Mr Hassan Millanga, said a total of 155 students were affected in his Ward adding that residents were constructing four classes at Kaigara Secondary School .
