Ondjiva — Entrepreneurs residing in the border zone of Oshikango, in the neighbouring Namibia, last Saturday were clarified about the advantages of investing in Cunene Province.
The appeal was made in Ondjiva City by the Angolan Commerce minister, Rosa Pacavira, at the assessment meeting of the minister's two-day visit to Cunene.
According to the government official, in order to make the Oshikango businesspeople invest in Cunene contacts have been made with representatives of commercial institutions.
She explained that the main buyers in warehouses of Oshikango are normally Angolan citizens, reason why there is a need to create business opportunities and jobs.
"What we intend to do is to facilitate the life of traders and other citizens that everyday travel through Angola and Namibia, as well as there is a need to re-launch large scale organised trade in Cunene Province", she stressed.
