Luena — The municipality of Luau will be the first out of the nine municipalities that make up the eastern Moxico Province to gain this year a municipal court, revealed last Friday here the minister of Justice and Human Rights, Rui Jorge Carneiro Mangueira.
This was disclosed by the minister in the end of a visit of a few hours to Moxico, having explained that the local government and the Justice Ministry came to this decision in view of the specific characteristics of the region.
The municipalities of Cameia, Alto-Zambeze and Bundas will also gain a court each in this first stage of the programme, which covers the 2012/2017 period.
"We have some shortcomings in some sectors, mainly in terms of setting up municipal courts", he explained.
