Angola: CIRH Chairman Commends Angola's Level of Organisation for Hockey World Cup

Luanda — The chairman of the International Rink Hockey Committee (CIRH), Harros Strusberg, said last Friday in Luanda that he is satisfied at the level of organisation being showed by Angola to host the 41st roller-skate hockey world championship, scheduled for 20-28 September in the cities of Luanda and Benguela.

The CIRH top official spoke to the press after visiting the premises of the Arena pavilions in Luanda, which is being built in Camama locality, and the site where four hotels are being built to host the foreign delegations.

He said he will live the country with a good impression, stressing that his team will take the information to other member countries and testify that Angola is very committed to organising a successful world cup, which will be the first one in this sport to happen in the African continent.

On his turn, the chairman of the Angolan Skating Federation (FAP) Carlos Alberto Jaime, informed to the CIRH team that all the set conditions are being fulfilled.

"We have to thank once more the trust showed to Angola by the international committee to host this important competition, which is a great gain for this sport (...)", he stressed.
