Two people died on Thursday night on the Mai Mahiu-Naivasha road. The accident occurred barely 12 hours after another accident claimed three mourners.
The two were involved in a head-on collision when their vehicle hit an oncom ing truck at Mai Mahiu trading centre. A witness, Paul Karanja, said the driver was trying to overtake when it rammed head on into the truck. The accident caused a major traffic snarl-up.
