Eritrea: Inhabitants of Dige Sub-Zone Witnessing Improvement of Livelihood - Report

Dige — The inhabitants of Dige sub-zone said that they are in a position to improve their livelihood following the implementation of various development programs.

They made the remark at a meeting they conducted with the Administration of the locality.

The sub-zonal Administration pointed out that development activities under implementation there include afforestation, soil and water conservation, as well as rural electrification, besides the support extended to families of martyrs.

Mr. Salej Haji, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of social service facilities and enhance participation in development programs mapped out for implementation in the locality.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding various issues, and asserted that they would back up the national development drive.
