Rwanda: Tax Body On Course to Surpass Revenue Target

In a challenging global economic environment that we live in today, the work of a tax collector is perhaps the most stressful job one could find, but Ben Kagarama is enjoying his work.

The commissioner general of Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) is swimming against a rough tide to post impressive revenue figures--and appears on course to even surpass the Frw 641.2 billion target set for him in the financial year 2012/13 national budget estimates presented to Parliament by finance minister John Rwangombwa last June.
