Former employees of the now defunct East Africa Community from Funyula, Busia, have said the government owes them over 21million Sterling Pounds.
The former employees aged 60 years who had been working in various departments during the colonial rule claimed the money is contributions they had made to the Crown under the British government.
Speaking to the press at Mulukhoni trading center yesterday, national secretary general Christopher Maloba told the government to pay the former employees their dues which he said are available in the consolidated fund.
