Egypt: Prime Minister Holds Meeting On Protecting Women Against Violence

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held a meeting on Saturday 9/1/2013 with the Insurance and Social Affairs Minister, the Head of the National Council for Women and representatives of the Interior Ministry to discuss the role of women in the development process.

Qandil gave directives to the related ministers to draw up a legislation that guarantees protecting women against violence.
