Egypt: Armed Forces Deny Reports On U.S Bases in Sinai

The Armed Forces denied on Saturday 9/2/2013 press reports about establishing US military bases in Sinai within the provisions of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which was concluded last year.

The official spokesman for the Armed Forces said on his website that the Armed Forces confirm that these reports are groundless and inaccurate.

He also completely denied the existence of any foreign military bases on the Egyptian land, saying the rules of maintaining national security and sovereignty do not accept the establishment of foreign bases on Egypt's land.
