Egypt: Interior Ministry - Committed to Protect the People - Arrest Outlaws

Major General Hani Abdellatif, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said in a statement on 9/2/2013 that policemen who are facing many challenges are determined to carry out their duties to face up any violation of the law or the attack of any public or private facility.

He added that the State witnessed on Friday 8/2/2013 unprecedented violence in Gharbiya, Alexandria and Kafr El-Sheikh governorates, where outlaws have used weapons and Molotov cocktails to attack police stations

The spokesman added that the number of policemen who were injured in the recent events reached 102.
