Egypt: 300,000 Feddans Available for Investors in Qattara Depression

The Agriculture and Land Reclamation Ministry allocated 300,000 feddans in Qattara Depression for agricultural investment, said head of the Public Authority for Reconstruction Projects and Agricultural Development Ali Ismail.

Ismail pointed out that Agriculture & Land Reclamation Minister Salah Abdul-Mo'men submitted a memo to the Cabinet to determine the deadline for offering tender documents.

He noted that the government agreed to allocate EGP 290 million to make ready for cultivation 21,000 feddans in Sinai and the New Valley to be distributed on small farmers and graduates at 2.5 feddans for each.
