Egypt: Sisi - Army Supports Anybody Seeking Progress of Egypt

The Armed Forces support anybody seeking the progress of Egypt, affirmed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defense Minister Colonel General Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi.

Speaking at the opening session of the second medical conference for the treatment of coronary artery blockage, which is held at the Armed Forces medical complex, Sisi underlined the need of maintaining coordination among the various medical bodies.

Sisi praised the great medical awareness at hospitals and universities in Egypt.

The Armed Forces medical complex, built on a total land area of 32 feddans, is considered an integrated medical city that comprises staff in all medical specialties, said head of the medical complex Haroun Abu-Sehli.

The conference is of special importance as it provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest methods in the treatment of heart disease, said President of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology Dr. Sherif el-Tobgey.

He underlined the important role played by the Armed Forces in improving the medical performance in Egypt.
