Egypt Condemns Israeli Abusive Measure Against Palestinians

Deputy Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Counselor Nazih Al-Nagari condemned, in a statement for the ministry on Saturday 9/2/2013, the arrest campaigns that the Israeli authorities held against members of the Change and Reform bloc in the Palestinian Legislative Council and asked Israel to immediately release them.

Nagari voiced Egypt's denunciation of Israel's policy of administrative detention that Israel practices against the Palestinian people and which violates international charters.

The Israeli arrest campaign comes within a series of rejected abusive measures by Israel against the Palestinian people including usurping Palestinian lands, building new settlements, withholding the transfer of the taxes revenues that Israel owes to the Palestinian National Authority and quelling the Palestinian resistance, Nagari added.
