Following months of denial and hiding, R&B-pop singer Tiwa Savage and her manager Tunji 'Tee Billz' Balogun are now officially engaged.

Billz formally proposed to the 'Kelekele love' star last Tuesday at her birthday celebration before a few celebrity friends, including Don Jazzy, Dr. SID, Banky W and Toolz, among others.

With marriage rumours surfacing a few weeks ago, the pair profusely denied they were in any relationship of the sort with Savage quoted as insisting so on Encomium magazine last December. "I am not engaged and I am not dating Tee Billz. If I am, you would have seen a ring on my finger indicating that I am engaged. It's just a rumour."

But the past few days said otherwise with photos and tweets of them both in Lagos and Dubai when the pair flew to Dubai and checked into the 7-Star Burj Al Arab Hotel, spending time together, taking boat cruises and seemingly enjoying a luxury couples vacation.

Also, Linda Ikeji said on her blog that, "Someone supposedly in the know sent me a mail a while back saying the loved up couple are actually married and their recent trip to Dubai was their honeymoon."

It's reported that on the morning of February 5th, 2013, Tiwa's 34th birthday, Billz updated his BlackBerry Messenger status to 'Happy birthday Mrs Billz.' Tiwa also posted two cakes on her Instagram page. The inscription on the first cake read 'Happy birthday Mrs Billz'.

The high point of the celebration was when Tee Billz pulled out the diamond-encrusted, yellow canary engagement ring estimated at N314,500 ($2, 000) and wore it on Tiwa's finger before they shared a passionate kiss.
