Angolan Official Receives Official Insignia From Rink Hockey Commitee

Luanda — The vice chairman for communication and marketing of the Angolan Skating Federation (FAP), Pedro Azevedo, who, since last January 28, holds the post of executive vice chairman for Africa of the International Rink Hockey Committee (CIRH), received last Sunday the official insignia of the organisation.

The handover happened during a meeting between the CIRH board and clubs from Luanda, held in the Dream Space venue, in Viana Municipality.

The CIRH insignia was handed over by the German Harros Strucksberg, who is the chairman of this international sports body.

For the first time, an Angolan person is part of the International Rink Hockey Committee (CIRH).

Pedro Azevedo was appointed CIRH representative in Africa, whereas the Brazilian Moacyr Júnior was chosen to be the institution's vice chairman, while the representatives in charge of the Pan-American region, Oceania/Asia and Europe are Bill Sisson (USA), Peter Braddock (New Zealand) and the Italian Francesco Rossi.
