Angola: Firemen Ready to Secure Carnival Feast

Luanda — About 100 effectives from the National Civil Protection and Fire Service (SNPCB) were deployed last Sunday in Luanda's Nova Marginal Boulevard to secure the second day of the Carnival feast, whose Adult B category parade took place Sunday.

Speaking to ANGOP, in the spot, the commander of the SNPCB quarters in Chicala ward, José Francisco Bomfim Contreiras, said that the effectives are equipped with several means, such as life-boats, fire trucks, cisterns, motor-bicycles and ambulances.

The commander also commended the fact that until the moment he was speaking to the press no worrying incidents had taken place.
