Gambia: Mbye Njie's Case Adjourned for Judgment

Acting Principal Magistrate Dawda S Jallow yesterday, 6 February, adjourned the alleged corruption case involving the former Director of Operations at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDEA), Mbye Njie, to Monday, 11th of February, for judgment.

The trial magistrate ruled that since the accused person and his counsel were absent from court, the matter was adjourned to the said date.

After for some time, the defence counsel, Lamin K Mboge appeared in court together with his client and apologized for coming late, but he was informed by the magistrate that the matter was adjourned to the above date for judgment.
