Egypt: Prosecutor General Does Not Accept Pressure From Anybody

The Prosecutor- General in Egypt works away from politics and the entire prosecution is only governed by the constitution, the law and living conscience, the Public Prosecution's new Spokesman Mostafa Dewidar said on Sunday 10/2/2013.

All complaints that reach the Prosecution receive utmost attention and are being tackled in conformity with the law to protect the rights of the citizens, he told a press conference on Sunday.

He denied any preconditions as regards notifications that reach the Prosecution regardless of their nature, adding that investigations are carried out with full transparency in a way that does not affect their secrecy.
