Gambia: Real De Banjul to Hold Press Briefing Today

Gambian champions Real de Banjul have called for a media briefing today at the Independence Stadium in Bakau ahead of their participation at the 2013 edition of the CAF Champions League.

The press briefing that will begin at midday would be centred on the club's preparations ahead of their first leg preliminary match in the 17th edition of the competition. They will face Morocco's FUR Rabat in the North African country at the weekend.

According to the club, the briefing will be attended by their technicians and officials just 24 hours before flying out to Morocco. Real are currently leading the 12-team Gambian league standings in the defence of their title with 10 points from four games.

Following three successive 1-0 wins, the club's perfect start to the new season came to an end following a goalless stalemate with Samger at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium on Saturday.
