Egypt: Shura Approves EU Investment Bank Loan

The Shura Council session witnessed on Sunday 10/2/2013 a heated debate between members of the Salafi and Muslim Brotherhood parties over an EU Investment Bank loan.
For their Part, Al-Nour Party members called for more time to refer the agreement to al-Azharl to ensure that the loan is an interest-free one.
The Shura Council approved on Sunday an agreement that had been signed between Egypt, the European Union and the European Investment Bank over the Community Development Program.
