Egypt: Shura Council Probes Bill to Repatriate Stolen Assets

The Shura Council's Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee began on Sunday 10/2/2013 debating a bill, submitted by the government, seeking the formation of a special judicial committee to be in charge of restoring Egypt's funds that were looted both inside and outside the country.

The committee will work in cooperation with bodies concerned both inside and outside Egypt to pursue all assets suspected to have been obtained by illegal ways or as a result of an illegal business.
