THE government has assured farmers in Narok that they will receive subsidised fertilizers from NCPB in the next two weeks.
Speaking at an Agriculture Stakeholders Forum in Narok town at the weekend, Narok North District Agriculture Officer Maurice Suji said the move will enable farmers access the commodity at affordable prices.
This comes after farmers protested government's delay of subsidised fertilizer.
Speaking to the Star on phone, Lesiamon ole Koonyo, Narok Wheat Farmers Association chairman said if the fertilisers fail to arrive before the planting season, harvest will be fewer than normal.
