Kenya: Advertising the Good Things in Life

It is interesting how the very things that are essential to life are rarely advertised as being good for us. Air is a good example. Its hard to find an advertisement for fresh air, unless you happen to be in a place where there is a possibility of not having air like while deep sea diving. Another is if you happen to be in a city with a lot of pollution.

Japan and Mexico had a craze a few years ago for oxygen bars. Tired workers at the end to the day would refresh themselves in establishments where almost pure oxygen would be sold for inhaling. Sounds logical, except that the human body already has a mechanism -our lungs -for delivering the necessary oxygen to body tissues.
