Angola Participates in Havana Book Fair

Luanda — Works by 11 Angolan writers will be displayed in the Internationalbook fair, in Havana, Cuba, on February 14-24, Angop has learnt.

The African country will be represented by the writers Arnaldo Santos, Luis Fernandes,Luandino Vieira, José Luis Mendonça, Maria Celestina Fernandes, Maria Eugénia Neto,among others.

Meanwhile, the adviser to the Culture minister, Jomo Forunato, said that the country'sparticipation will enable to know better the world through literature, dance, music, theatre,cinema, plastic arts, as well as talks and conferences.

Among the national singers that will be in Havana are Matias Damásio, Tony Amado,Gabriel Tchiema, Tony Amado, Angela Ferrão, Africanita, Armanda Cunha, Duo Canhoto,Bruno Neto, Domingos Gomes, Emanuel Mendes and Celsio Mambo.

The national cinema will also be present in this festival.
