Nigeria: Unknown Gunmen Kill Three Persons, 23 Cows in Plateau

Unknown men on Monday allegedly opened fire on farmers in their farmlands killing three persons and 23 Cows in Kassa village of Barkinladi LGA of Plateau State.

Media Officer of Special Task Force (STF) on Jos crisis, Captain Salisu Mustapha in a press statement said that the STF personnel who "swiftly moved to the scene of the attack" exchanged fire with the gunmen, leading to the killing of two of the attackers.

Salisu said that the STF also arrested four of the gunmen and recovered some weapons from them, adding that 23 cows were killed, nine wounded and five reportedly missing.
