Angola: 700 Hectares of Arable Lands Prepared in Porto Amboim

Porto Amboim — At least 700 hectares of arable lands are being prepared in Porto Amboim Municipality, Central Kwanza-Sul Province, for the coming season, Angop has learnt.

This was announced by the head of the Agrarian Development Station (EDA), Manuel sozinho, who added that 10 tonnes of fertilizers, 15 of maize are also being distributed to 50,000 peasants.

Lack of rains in the region hindered the previous agricultural season.
