Angola: Lunda-Cokwe King Calls for Tradition Safeguard

Saurimo — The King of Lunda-Cokwe people, Muene Mwatxissengue Watembo, has called population, mainly youngsters to keep the Angolan tradition and culture and respect the elders, Angop has learnt.

The Sovereign said so when speaking to the young academicians that are participating in the 2013 University campus (Canfeu), in Northern Zaire Province, calling on the support of teachers and tutors so that youngsters preserve the Angolan tradition and culture.

He said it is necessary that young people get married with the approval of the elders and advised girls about the manner they wear their clothes.
