Kuito — The chairperson of the Annual Conference of the East Angola United Methodist Church, Bishop José Quipungo, expressed Sunday in Kuito, Bie Province, the need of the faithful to continue to contribute to the spread of gospel across the region.
The religious leader who was speaking during the closing of the 22nd Annual Conference of the East Angola organized from 5 to 10 February, defended the need of Christians to continue expansion of the word of God in humanity.
José Quipungo revealed also that the expansion of the gospel will allow the salvation of human lives that are lost in this world of sin, adding it is time to know God's purpose for all mankind.
The meeting counted on the presence of 600 faithful from provinces of Bié, Lunda Sul, Malanje, Lunda Norte, Luanda, Moxico, as well as believers from Namibia, guests, among others.
