Angola: Jovens Unidos Do Úcua to Parade First At Class a Carnival Competition

Caxito — The carnival group Jovens Unidos do Úcua will be the first one to parade Tuesday, in the provincial competition of the 2013 carnival edition, according to the draw organised Friday in Caxito City, province of Bengo, by the local department of culture.

The provincial parade of carnival in Bengo will happen on Wednesday at Ingamba Square in Caxito, and counts on the participation of 13 carnival groups.

The 2012 carnival edition in Bengo Province was won by the groups Ngola Mbandi da Açucareira, in adult class and Os Cassules União Jovens Independentes do Kingungo, in children's class. Here is the list of groups:

2-União Surpresa do Kinguxi

3-Rainha Ginga Mbandi

4-Ngau Moyo do Nambuangongo

5- União Jovens de Kissaquila dos Dembos

6- Ngola Mbandi da Açucareira

7- Maringa de Caboxa (Bula Mbunda)

8- Dipanda do Pango Aluquém

9- Kiba dos Camponeses do Kimaria

10-Rainha Ginga Mbandi do Bula Atumba

11-Salta Macaco do Ambriz

12- União Etu Twiza

13- União Jovens Independentes do Kingungo.
