Egypt: Hundreds March in Alexandria to Demand Ousting Mursi

Hundreds of protesters from different revolutionary groups on Monday organised a march from Alexandria's Victoria to demand ousting President Mohamed Mursi and toppling the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Participants in the march lifted banners with pictures of late prominent activists including Khaled Said and martyrs who were killed during the January 2011 uprising.

The masses rallied on the second anniversary of ousting President Hosni Mubarak in 2011 following protests that lasted for 18 days.

The participants also chanted slogans calling on Mursi to step down and demanding toppling the regime.
