Dozens of protesters blocked traffic in both directions of October 6 Bridge on Monday in the anniversary of ousting the former president Hosni Mubarak. The also halted the first line of the Metro in downtown Cairo.
The protesters chanted against the Muslim Brotherhood and demands to bring down the regime, reported the Middle East News Agency.
The train movement was obstructed after protesters stormed the metro station, Anwar Sadat, which is located at Tahrir Square.
Protesters started heading to Tahrir square on the second anniversary of toppling Mubarak's regime.
The April 6 opposition movement surrounded the attorney general's office in the house of judiciary and the Egyptian Stock Exchange building to protest the failure of presenting the ones accused of killing protesters to trial.
